When will Mother 4 release?

We wish we had a solid answer to give you all, but we don't. It is impracticable to give a time frame right now. There are many things to be considered when developing a game, and we want to make sure we can offer our best. Producing something true to the Mother name is not an easy task. We ourselves want the game to be out now, but that's not possible. It is important to make sure we can build something of quality. It'll take a while, but we'll be there eventually. That's a promise from us. All we ask is that you stay patient!

Wasn't there another game that went by "Mother 4"?

Yes, there was! That project is its own thing now. We are two separate teams working on two different projects. The Mother 4 Team is not linked to them in any way, and neither do we want to replace the work they did in the past. We are creating a fan-sequel because we love Mother. Nothing else. We wish them the absolute best with their project!

Is Mother 4 an official Mother product?

No, in fact it is the complete opposite. We are not associated with NINTENDO CO., Shigesato Itoi, APE HAL LABORATORY INC., or any of their associates. It is an unofficial, fan-made product made by fans of the franchise.

Is Mother 4 Free?

Mother 4 is completely free! It always has been, and always will be. There will be no necessary payment needed in order to play the game.
